Née en 1959 en Arménie, diplômée de l’Académie National des Beaux-Arts de Erevan,
Evgenia Saré vit et travaille à Paris depuis 1991.
" Ma seule motivation à peindre c'est le plaisir que j'en retire. Je me sens bien avec mes personnages, qui sont doux, gentils, coquets et surtout très humain.
Je travaille toujours, même quand je n’ai pas le crayon ou le pinceau à la main, chaque regard, chaque mouvement, chaque parole, chaque passant tout ce qui m’entoure rempli ma tirelire de peintre. J’épure le personnage, j’enlève la méchanceté, l’amertume, le voile gris des tracas quotidiens, et ils continuent leur vie sur mes tableaux dans la sérénité et le bonheur "
Born in 1959 in Armenia, graduated from the National Institute of Fine Arts in Yerevan,
Saré has lived and worked in Paris since 1991.
My only motivation to paint is the pleasure I get from it. I feel good with my characters, which are sweet, kind, nice, stylish, and most of all, very human. I always work, even when I have no a pencil or paintbrush in my hand, every look, every move, every word, every passerby, everything around me fill up my painter's treasury. I refine my characters, I take away the malice, the bitterness, the grey veil of daily hassles, and they continue their life on my paintings in serenity and happiness.
